¹⁴ as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up ¹⁵ so that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.

Today, the Church celebrates the triumph of the Holy Cross of Jesus our Saviour.

Oh, what a glorious celebration of victory!

Because of the victory of the Cross of Jesus we can boldly declare, “we adore You o Christ and we praise You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.”

How much truth is held in this confession of faith.

Precious Holy Spirit open our eyes and heart and ears today to hear what You are saying to the Church at this time.

This morning as I pondered the mystery of the Holy Cross, I was filled by such an overwhelming feeling of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving to God and Christ JESUS for through Jesus’ triumphant Cross of Calvary, we have obtained by His Blood and victory, every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).

I was made to understand that The Cross is the New Tree that bears the New Fruit of Redemption.

Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, disobeying God.

Jesus and Mary obeyed God and Jesus sacrificed His life in complete obedience to God, with Mary becoming a partaker of that sacrifice.

Jesus gave Himself as the Fruit of the Tree of The Cross and that is why He has called us to EAT HIS BODY AND DRINK HIS BLOOD.

His Body and Blood are the Fruit of the New Tree of which everyone who eats, in obedience to His Word, will live forever!

ALL GLORY TO GOD!

ALL GLORY TO THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN, WHO HAS REDEEMED US BY HIS BLOOD!

ALL GLORY TO HIM WHO HAS RECONCILED US BACK TO GOD BY HIS BODY AND BLOOD!

ALL GLORY TO KING, JESUS CHRIST, OUR BLESSED REDEEMER!

So on this Feast of the Triumph of the Cross, let us give ceaseless thanks to God!

Let us thank the LORD for everything that Jesus has obtained for us by dying on the Cross and offering His life in exchange for ours.

He is the atonement for our sins.

He has paid fully the price for our folly.

In Jesus Name and through the Power of His Blood, we will never return to the path of sin and death. Amen!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, the wonder of the triumph of the Cross of Your Son Jesus is too wonderful for me to understand fully.

But I do desire to understand fully, Father.

Yes Father, I want to understand fully that I may take nothing for granted with regards to the saving mysteries of my salvation.

I want to understand the price that Jesus paid and what He has given me in exchange through His own sacrifice.

Because everything that Jesus has given us, I want to receive in full for me, my family and for Your Church and all Your people.

So Holy Father, teach me the depths of Your Riches, Wisdom and Knowledge.

Help me to understand and be forever changed by Your teaching.

I can never remain the same again, Jesus paid too dear a price for me to remain the same. Never again Father to a life of sin and disobedience and bondage in Jesus Name.

Help me, Father, for he who the Son sets free is free indeed!

In Jesus Name, I am free indeed!
