Reveal my purpose, God

So they said to him, ‘Who are you? We must take back an answer to those who sent us. What have you to say about yourself?’

23 So he said, ‘I am, as Isaiah prophesied: A voice of one that cries in the desert: Prepare a way for the Lord. Make his paths straight!’

John 1:22-23

Reflection

St John the Baptist had crystal clear understanding of his identity in Christ. His conviction led him to fulfil his purpose.

Many of us are still unclear or not convicted about God’s definitive calling upon our life.

This year let us make up our minds to ask God to hear and be convicted about what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.

Then let us run that race with conviction, guided by the Power of God’s Holy Spirit.

Prayer

Father God, You say to us in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things which you have not known.”

Today we call to You, asking that You reveal clearly our purpose to us.

Just like You did to St John the Baptist we trust in You to do also for us.

Then strengthen us to walk boldly in the path that You have destined for us until we see You face to face in Heaven. Amen!

Always & Forever,

To The Lamb,

With all my ❤️
