Walking on the sea

And about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.

Matthew 6: 48

Jesus has done great things

He has done great things

He has done great things

Praise His Holy Name.

The song above (whose author is unknown to me) is a clear description of Jesus’ miracles on earth.

We read in Exodus 14:21-22 how at God’s command, Moses stretched out his hand and the red sea was parted with the children of Israel crossing through with walls of water on their left and right.

Now our LORD Jesus shows us that not only is He God Who is able to part the waters of the sea but He is The Almighty Who walks on the sea.

In what is more astounding, He also calls Peter out to walk on the sea with Him. And as long as Peter had his eyes on Jesus, he was able to walk on the sea.

How marvellous is our God!

How majestic His Power and Glory and Splendour.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, today I just want to marvel at Your greatness. Oh give me grace to do so Lord! All day long! In my rising, my working, my eating, my resting, my sleeping, give me grace o God Most High to marvel at Your infinite greatness and power.

For Who is like Thee o Lord?!

Absolutely none!

Praise You Most Holy God.

Praise You for You alone are worthy of all praise.

Thank You for Your love, Your compassion, Your majesty and Your glory.

I give it all to You, everything I have, everything I am.

Be Thou exalted forever Christ my King now and forever! Amen!

Always & Forever,

To The Lamb.

With all my ❤
