Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
James 1:17
Today’s reflection from the letter of St James is a living testimony of this truth in my life.
When I was discerning the vocation of marriage and courting my husband, the enemy used to discourage me with lies that our relationship was “too good to be true”.
In fact, I was hounded every now and again by these thoughts that sometimes the lies would almost tend to lead me to self-jeopardy – thank God for His abundant mercies that delivered me from every foolish action.
The more I prayed about my relationship, the more convinced I became, yet these thoughts prevailed.
But thanks be to God for His steadfast love.
At a time of great discernment when I set apart everything to truly hear God’s voice and His will for my life, He not only confirmed again my husband but He also sent me His word – the specific verse from James 1:17
“Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, from the Father of lights in Whom there is no variation, nor shadow due to change.”

Immediately God sent forth His Word into my life, the chains were broken! I was set free and my mind was renewed in the Truth of God’s perfect love for us His children!
He is a HOLY FATHER!!!
Who loves us more than we can ever ask or imagine.
God wants us today to know that He loves us!
He has planned every good and perfect gift for us!
Let us renounce, refuse, reject and rebuke the lies of the devil – who is the father of lies and in whom there is no truth – as our LORD Jesus has decreed.
And let us cling to the Truth of GOD our Father’s unfailing love and provision for our lives – whatever our circumstances! God is able!!!
He loves us! God cares for us! God has us in mind! God provides for us! God counsels us! God directs our path! God heals us! God anoints us! God sets us free!!!

To God Most High be all the praise now and forever!
Prayer
O Loving Father, when we think upon Your goodness we are amazed at Your profound love for us.
Who are we LORD that we should be soooooo loved by You and yet You loved us with the love of a Father – not just any Father but a Perfect Father!
Father God, today we sing Your eternal praises! As You remind us of Your goodness our hearts rejoice!
We proclaim that truly Your love is eternal.
Your ways are perfect!
Your gifts are good, perfect and unchanging!
Yes Father You do not change Your mind, when you give us from Your eternal abundance and goodness.
Today Father, we come to say THANK YOU for YOUR super abundant goodness towards us!
Thank You for Your precious, good and perfect gifts in every area of our lives.
We give everything back into Your loving care.
I personally consecrate all to You through the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Father be pleased to be glorified and exalted in our lives today and forever.
Please have Your way for apart from You we can do nothing.
