Be reconciled

So if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Matthew 7:23-24

God wants peace in our lives.

This single truth should fill us with so much hope.

When we are worried about conflict or trials in our personal relationships, we know we can trust Him to will the same thing that we desire, peace.

Peace is a profound word that means to rest.

Rest in our lives, is often seen as a frailty.

However, God calls us to rest in His arms, and similarly to find rest in our relationships with one another.

That’s why today’s call to reconciliation is really important.

For we cannot truly rest if we are in conflict with others, especially those closes to us.

So today, let us ask God, with confidence that he would hear us, to grant us a heart, a home and enduring relationships that abide in His peace.

Prayer

Yahweh Shalom!

LORD Jesus, I need Your Almighty help now!

Yes LORD Jesus, apart from You, I cannot know the way to peace.

However, I need peace deep down in my soul.

Then I need Your peace to overflow from within me, to without me, and serenade all around me.

Please give me grace and come to my aid.

Grant me Your almighty peace.

You are my mighty deliverer!

Shelter me, uplift me, save me and hide me in Your glory!

Let Your peace abide as an eternal presence in my life, in my spouse, in our children, in our family, in our home, in Your Church.

For we are Your people whom You have made and chosen for Yourself.

Thank You for hearing my prayers as I put all my trust in You!

Praise be Your glorious Name now and forever, Most High God, living and true!

Amen!

Always & Forever,

To the Lamb,

With all my ❤

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
