26 And as well as this, the Spirit too comes to help us in our weakness, for, when we do not know how to pray properly, then the Spirit personally makes our petitions for us in groans that cannot be put into words.
27 and he who can see into all hearts knows what the Spirit means because the prayers that the Spirit makes for God’s holy people are always in accordance with the mind of God.
Romans 8:26-27
I love this scripture so much!
I remember the first time I read it, feeling such a wave of relief come over me as I finally understood that even in my times of prayer, when I felt words hard to speak, I could completely rely on the Holy Spirit to help me.
How awesome is our God!
How incredible is this thought!
When we dig deeper still into the depths of this mystery, we realise that by praying in the Spirit, we can directly reach the heart of the Father.
In the knowledge of this truth, how can we pray any other way.
Surely beginning prayers with an ardent invocation of the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for us to really commune with God.
The way He speaks to our Father on our behalf is up to Him Who knows the depths of God.
Oh, how awesome is the love of God for us! That even when He invites us to come to Him in prayers, He fills us with a super abundance of His Holy Spirit to help is in our weakness and time of prayer.
Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, I love You with my entire being!
My entire life cannot be without You and apart from You, Precious Spirit of the Living God, I am nothing!
I need Your entire living Presence to come and dwell in my heart.
So I surrender my life in its entirety to You and welcome You completely into my life. Help me always to commune in deepest intimacy with the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son.
Come Holy Spirit of God, come now, come as You wish.
Amen.
Thank You Holy Ghost my Helper.
(Blessed Mother Mary, faithfulness spouse of the Holy Spirit, pray for us.)
Always & Forever,
To the Lamb,
With all my ❤
