This is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life, and whoever has not the Son of of God has not life.
1 John 5:11-12
In today’s reflection, St John talks about the testimony of God; urging all people to believe.
God’s testimony is sooo good.
It is the GOOD NEWS!
His testimony is that He has given us eternal life. Yes! We shall LIVE forever!!!
What is even more incredible about this promise is that to attain this gift, to receive this gift He has freely given, costs us nothing.
We do not have to climb mountains or cross rivers, or carry out any enormous tasks! No!
We simply have to accept Jesus Christ, His only Begotten Son, as our LORD and Saviour!
Truly, GOD IS SO GOOD!
Now, I don’t know about you, but I certainly need a Saviour! And not just any saviour, but THE SAVIOUR of the world!
The ONE Who created the entire universe and all that is within; and then saw my sinful state and decided that I will not perish in death; and so He gave His Life in exchange as a ransom for mine.
Yes, Jesus Christ to save me, died my death and gave me His Life. And now, I am assured of my promise of eternal life in Him, because He is the ONLY ONE Whom death could not hold captive!
Alleluia!!! He rose from the dead after three days (to fulfil scriptures) and now He lives forever at the Right Hand of God!
How eternal is God’s unshakable, unfailing, unchanging, love for me!!!
And you know what? This is the message God is speaking to you too, today!
That He, the God of the Universe, the Eternal One, loves you! Yes, you!
That’s why He created you, so that you can know Him, accept His love and live with Him forever.
Truly, a life lived in Christ Jesus is the best blessing in life.
May we all hear today the voice of God! And accept His testimony that our lives here on earth may beautifully flourish in His love. Then we shall live with Him forever!

Prayer
Oh Almighty Father, how wondrous is Your testimony towards us. How great and powerful is Your unfailing love for us.
Through Jesus Your Son, whom we accept as our Salvation, we run into Your Everlasting Arms and enjoy our Salvation and perfect rest!
Truly, You alone are God and our hearts rejoice in You!
Thank You for loving us so fiercely and faithfully! We are eternally grateful!
Amen!
With all Your Hosts in Heaven and all the Saints, we cry out: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, it is now and it ever shall be, world without end. Amen!!!
