They said, ‘Where did the man get all this? What is this wisdom that has been granted him, and these miracles that are worked through him? 3 This is the carpenter, surely, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joset and Jude and Simon? His sisters, too, are they not here with us?’ And they would not accept him.

Dear LORD Jesus,
As I ponder today’s Gospel, it suddenly occurs to me that I too have multiple times, behaved like these people who rejected You.
Yes, LORD, indeed with shame and heaviness of heart I confess my pride, suspicion and envy of others whom You may have gifted in ways I didn’t understand, for Your Kingdom purpose.
Please forgive me LORD.
Please renew my mind, Jesus!
There is nothing I want more than to know You as You truly are, and celebrate You in all the ways You manifest Yourself in the lives of Your people.
Renew my mind and heart again to be healed and transformed by the Power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen!
Today, LORD Jesus, I declare and confess that I choose You in all Your beauty, glory, humility and majesty.
Save me from myself and every weakness; and please manifest Yourself fully as You are in me and in every situation around me.
Amen!
Jesus, I trust in You! Be Thou magnified!
